Starting secondary school is an exciting milestone filled with new opportunities, challenges, and experiences. It was all smiles, laughter, and high energy as our Secondary 1 CCKSians dove into a fun-filled orientation! Their seniors pulled out all the stops, organising lively ice-breakers and bonding games that sparked instant friendships. The excitement peaked when the students came together to learn a dynamic mass dance, creating a buzzing and unforgettable start to their secondary school adventure.
Additionally, to support our newest CCKSians as they embark on this important journey, CCKSS also organized a meaningful Secondary 1 Parent Engagement session that brought parents and children together in a warm and welcoming environment. The event aimed to strengthen the partnership between home and school while helping students feel supported as they adjust to a new chapter of their education. Parents were introduced to the school’s values, expectations, and support systems, gaining a better understanding of how they can work hand in hand with teachers to nurture their children’s growth. They were also treated to an energetic display by the Secondary 1 CCKSians who proudly danced the mass dance they learnt as part of their orientation.
One particularly touching segment of the programme invited parents to write personal notes of encouragement to their children. As parents carefully penned their thoughts, the room was filled with a quiet sense of reflection and love.
